My Bologna has a first name, it’s P-A-C-O…

So in this latest news headline from CNN, some dude trying to smuggle 800 lbs of bologna across the US-Mexico border gets caught. The Department of Homeland Security reports that the source of the smuggled bologna could not be verified, and therefore; it had to be destroyed.

Now I have two questions.

1. Doesn’t the Department of Homeland Security have better things to be doing with their time than catching Mexican bologna smugglers? I mean, seriously, has everyone completely forgotten about Osama bin Laden?

2. The USDA reports that this type of smuggled bologna could pose health risks because it’s usually not refrigerated. Can you imagine what 800 lbs of unrefrigerated bologna smells like as it’s transported from Mexico to Texas? Eww.
